We suggest you to start the season with a brand new experience that will let you discover the secrets of glass!
This is your chance to mold incandescent glass and forge your drinking glass in first person, so that you will the ultimate excuse to make a toast!
In history, the invention of liquid containers has deeply changed the life of human beings, that's why I believe that this experience could be very nice and powerful at the same time. Let's face it, you can create the glass you'd like to, your personal container of dreams and desires!
For each available date there are two turns: the morning one (9AM to 1PM) and the afternoon one (2PM to 6PM). We can agree the time you prefer by private message after the booking or writing an email to office@italianstories.it.
Minimum 2 people.
I warmly suggest you to wear comfortable clothes, avoid acrylic clothes in favor of cotton and jeans. Bring an extra shirt in case you sweat a lot and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
Minimum age for this experience is 12 years old.

The furnace opens the door and prepares to dissolve bottles to make incredible creatures! For the occasion, the lab offers the opportunity to those who want to look around the world of glass and its recycling, to satisfy their thirst for knowledge! We decided to dedicate two days to the visits to show the beauty of the glass in its impermanence, weaving wires and blowing balloons! We are waiting for you to offer a unique adventure into the world of "Vetromaghie" out of which you will you step with shiny eyes and sparkling minds! THE TIFFANY GLASS SUNCATCHER

Maria Grazia will patiently accompany you in the discovery of glass, from the first draft to the actual creation of a magical piece that will fill your house with colorful glowing light. Every step of the workshop will be left to your creativity and hands, expertly guided by the artisan host. Discover the secrets of glass making with Maria Grazia: a hands-on experience in the creation of personalized glass suncatchers of any model and with any colored opaline glass made available. Then comes the time of using the special diamond glass-cutter to shape the pieces, the sharp edges of which will then be smoothed. The model is then put together with copper plating and welding. Finally, a hook will be applied to your creation before you can take it home and hang it.

YOUR MICROMOSAIC JEWEL

In this experience we offer you something absolutely unique, a journey through the history of micromosaic! We will then show you the spinning of the glazes for the preparation of the tesserae and the authentic composition of the stucco. You will then be able to choose a semi-finished piece of jewelry that you will complete by making your own micromosaic. At the end of the workshop you will take home your own unique and original piece of jewelry!
