I am Agata. During my studies I have attended the Ceramics and Pottery School of Art. For more than 40 years I have been working with my husband in our workshop. There we create artistic potteries and ceramics. Now are also working with us our daughters and our son-in-law. The pottery is an ancient craft. It is a family tradition. My father-in-law handed it down to us. It is transmitted generation to generation. The atelier is situated in the marvelous Caltagirone. This small city is famous for its centuries-old tradition in the production of its fine and colorful Majolica.
Its several years now that we opened our factory to the public. Tourists from Caltagirone could thus appreciate all the fascinating and interesting phases that are needed for the creation of pottery and ceramics products. Moreover we are giving the opportunity to participate to our “Educational Workshop” course. People can do it individually or in group, with the family, some friends or with the school. We love the idea of turning our reality into an “Open Factory”. A place where anyone could share an experience.
