THE STORY

I started my family-run business in 1980 in Villamagna, a small village near Chieti. Our manufacturing is very diversified, we realize both unique pieces and standard products, but all of our production is characterized by a careful balance between tradition and innovation and we exclusively aim to reach the higher quality standard we can.
The traditional production, strictly connected with the regional folklore, is realized through refined technical execution after a meticulous study of shape, colors and decorations; on the other side, the more creative and personal line stems from the strong belief that research plays a primary role in the manufacturing and that even the world of ceramics must open up to more contemporary scenarios.
For what concerns the realization of unique pieces, we exclusively utilize enamels directly mixed in-house that we often use to enrich with crystals, pure gold, platinum and/or metallic finishes, raku technique and recycled materials. Also, a couple of years ago we introduced a particular production that takes advantage of digital printing, as if to testify that innovation is an important aspect that enriches the traditional production process.
Every item is made in our lab with qualified manpower; modern processing techniques and high-quality materials guarantee an excellent final product, an exquisite piece of artistic craftsmanship.
Today, more than 30 years after the beginning of this adventure, my sons are approaching the family activity working both in the production and the administration of the firm. They have always live the world of ceramic obviously, but it’s been their choice to follow my footsteps and I’m so proud of that. They will always be dealing with me but, since they are young and fresh, I really appreciate their ideas and styles, their attempts to approach pottery from a different point of view.
That is why I push them to explore the boundaries of this craft, I try to encourage them to partecipate in showcases and contests and this makes me even more enthusiast about my job.
Moreover, I'm so lucky to have my wife Assunta beside me, she has always been of great help and it't thank to her that we have been able to switch from a "small workshop" to a successful firm able to represent the excellence of Abruzzese pottery in the world.
