Miranda's first love with mosaics started in Tarros, Sardinia, when she became fascinated by the sandstone compositions of a local craftsman. Thanks to the collaboration with her brother (a marble worker), she became a self-taught mosaicist during her 20-year-long (but neverending really) research. The materials used in the laboratory range from marble to hard stones to colored glass, all natural and of inimitable beauty, which preserve the original charm of the earth and its history.
