THE STORY

Sometimes things happen by chance, taking shape from an idea that has been building slowly over the years, as in the case of Luca, whose passion for agriculture was born from a very young age. The first piece of land purchased dates back to 1985 and from then on Luca kept working on his passion, expanding the company with new plots year by year, keeping his job as a worker, until 2001. In that year he decided to convert a large part of the countryside to viticulture, while also maintaining the production of apples, cherries and walnuts, and to start wine production which led to the opening of a winery in 2017. Today the whole family is committed to creating a range of increasingly complex and rich wines, appreciated nationally.

EXPERIENCES WITH MASSIMILIANO E LUCA

VISIT

SCENT OF THE WINEYARD

Massimiliano e Luca, winemaker

25

The experience begins with a nice walk in the vineyard, where you'll get to know the 5 different grape varieties and appreciate the work done in the different seasons. The visit continues in the cellar: you'll be welcomed by the aromas of fermenting and aging wine. Here, Massimiliano or Luca will tell you everything about the treatment that the grapes receive, from winemaking to bottling. You'll then be guided into a wine tasting session, in which you will discover the floral aromas in the white wines and those of ripe fruit in the macerates typical of this area. Finally, a small refreshment with local products (meats and cheeses). Upon request, and in season, you can book a short vine pruning lesson.
