MAKE YOUR OWN FELT HAT AND SILK SCARF (24/10/2023)
THE WOOL PRODUCTION CHAIN (10/01/2016)
I am a felter, very fond of wool and I would like to recreate even today the supply chain that once was an important item in the economy of nations.
In Alto Adige we have some small family-run woolen mills where the wool is already selected by local shepherds after the shearing. My work allows me to recognize the inestimable value of this precious raw material, free and sustainable. We have created a group of enthusiasts who is ready to use this amazing material in order to create traditional artifacts as well as innovative ones, according to today’s needs. This virtuous circle, can create synergies with very positive impact on the territory. Today we hold courses, meetings and workshops in collaboration with many local organizations.

THE WOOL PRODUCTION CHAIN (10/01/2016)
FROM WOOL TO FELT
Lucia, felt maker

After a short break with an organic snack you will go on with the design and construction of a personalized felt hat or alternatively a felt seat / seat cover, suitable for all seasons and all uses. You can choose your favorite hat model and add decorations with various colors wools, that can also be used for the seat cover.
