I'm a designer and a jewels maker, graduated at Alchimia contemporary jewelry school having Manuel Vilhena and Manfred Bishoff as teachers among others. I also studied hand engraving at Le Arti Orafe jewelry school. I’m very interested in collaborative projects and spreading contemporary jewelry, that’s why I've recently opened a co-working space of contemporary jewelry in my city, Florence. It is located in the Oltrarno artisanal area and I work there with other italian and international jewels makers: we share knowledge and space, but everyone is independent.
We have different backgrounds and different interests, everyone can develop his own project but this space allows us to enrich every work by the continuous discussions we can have with each other.
The space consists in a lab-area in which you will find the work tables reserved for the resident artists, some workstations to host classes and hands-on workshop and an exhibition area in which we showcase and sell our creations.
Now the space is open for everyone who wants to learn the basics of jewelry and for those who wants to deepen their knowledge on specific techniques such as metals weaving, filigree, resin and lost-wax casting.
