The story of the workshop Grilli started in 1935, the stone city of Gubbio, when Enzo Grilli, who was just 11, became the master of the workshop. The passion for the art of stone has been handed down from father to son, so that Luca Grilli, Enzo’s son, began working with his father, already in the eighties. Their work, full of passion is not a mere manual work, made of technical measures and proportions. In fact, it has turned into an art that characterized and characterizes the whole story of the workshop Grilli. Many works of prestige and great satisfaction for Enzo and his son Luca followed one other over the years: from the faithful reproduction of the “office” of the Duke of Urbino Federico da Montefeltro, where Enzo is committed to reproduce faithfully the original architrave and doorposts of the entrance doors of the study of the Duke, now exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
For years, the company deals with the marble and stone processing, from ancient to modern up to the restoration. The company is also engaged in the execution of works for interior and exterior design.
For eighty years now, thanks to Luca’s commitment and passion, Grillis workshop has been continuing to convey the passion for handmade works that come from the heart, creating simple “pieces” of stone and turning them into “pieces ” of history.
